Sweet Cakes {an ice cream cupcake tutorial}

A little overdue for a post…but if you are anything like me…I will never turn down cake & ice cream.  Nor is there a wrong time of year for this party fave!  So here is what we did…no reinvention of the wheel but we took a traditional treat like cupcakes and topped them with ice cream and toppings and call them “sweet cakes”.  You could set up a toppings bar so kids can create their very own tiny treats.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Here is a behind the scene shot…the after-mess.  Yep, those are thousands of sprinkles my 1 years old spilled ALL OVER THE FLOOR.  I am still finding them,ugh!
