Flamingo Party Summer Party Ideas

We recently had the chance to appear on one of the local morning shows.  Good Morning Arizona was  doing a segment on the downtown area of Gilbert where our shop is located and they asked us to participate in their “Field Trip Friday”.  With a one week notice, we got busy pulling some ideas together to throw the perfect summer themed celebration.  “Let’s Flamingle” was the theme we decided on and the details are just too cute!  Let’s check it out!!

We always start with the invitation as a jumping off point for party planning.  Geometric pineapples give a modern feel while the pink flamingos keep it playful.

The same geometric pineapples anchored the banner design and the rest of the printables.

The cake from Inspired Sugar most definitely took center stage…I mean c’mon look at this??!?!!!!  Absolute perfection!!

We topped it off with cake topper printables that are also a part of the collection.

The party cart was dressed up in black and white cabana striped fabric, a tassel garland, printable banner and all of the goodies!!  We love how it all turned out!  Wanna see us in action?  See the new clip below.

  1. Hi! I really love your site and shop! What a cute party! Where do you purchase all your candy. That seems to be so expensive to buy especially to fill jars for a dessert/party table. Any suggestions where to buy candy in larger quantities for less? Thanks so much.

    • Hi Laura! We purchase in bulk from a local supplier…Sweeties!! But we have a little secret…we make an insert for the jars to take up the center space and fill the candy in around it (:

  2. Hi, I absolutely love the cake stand you used for this party! Where did you get this one from or where do you recommend finding some that are similar?
