meet Rebecca

In 2007, a downturn in the housing market forced Rebecca out of her corporate interior design job and into the creative world of becoming an entrepreneur.  She started her blogging career with Project Nursery as their very first contributor.

She soon fell in love with the idea of being able to share her ideas and creativity with the world and so she started her own blog & Etsy Printable Shop.  With her work being recognized all over the internet, her small at home, on-line business started to gain some momentum in 2011.  It was then that she talked her gal pal into teaming up with her to join the entrepreneurial adventure she had embarked on.  Shortly after joining forces and dreaming about owning a party shop, their big dreams all came to life in March of 2012 when the two creatives opened Petite Party Studio.

Over the last 5 years Rebecca has poured her creativity into running a shop, blogging about DIY projects, designing products & coming up with new printables ideas.

Make & Do Studio is a new adventure for Rebecca to wrap all of her talents into one creative outlet.  From the time Rebecca was a little girl, she was always creating..in fact her weekly trips to the school library were driven by her desire to check out the latest in “Make & Do” books, so its no surprise what inspired the name, Make & Do Studio.

Rebecca has always been recognized for her budget friendly, DIY approach to design.  She continues to contribute as a design expert for Project Nursery, Domino.com & Joann.com,  plus work with companies such as Home Depot, Land of Nod, Spoonflower & RugsUSA.  She can’t wait to share all of the creative crazy that lives in her head on the regular as you follow along with her on this new journey.
