We are pretty sure our hot summers in Arizona revolve around what cold treats we will will be serving up after dinner. Summer is one of our favorite times of the year to entertain, minus the 100 degree weather. We love BBQ’s, block parties, small gatherings with friends, but what we love most, is coming up with a creative way to serve up a delicious summer happy treat! I mean, we DO love to PAR-TAY! When we spotted the AH-MAZING Klondike Kandy Bars…it was love at first
sight taste. We picked up a box of the Peanut Caramel flavored treats from our local grocery store headed home and got to work. Trust us…Klondike Kandy Bars are delicious all on their own… but we wanted to whip up a fun recipe that we could incorporate them into. How about a Klondike Kandy Bar Trifle. Oh yes, you heard us right a trifle, mason jar style with pound cake, salted caramel, peanuts, pretzels, all topped with pieces of caramel-peanut Klondike Kandy Bars. Need we say more? Ok, then we’ll show you…
First thing you need?
We love individual sized treats so we opted to create mason jar trifles. We then took our Klondike Kandy Bars, cut them up into cubes and layered them with cubed pieces of pound cake, whipped topping, peanuts, pretzels, caramel topping. Then, the trifles were topped off with the remaining pieces of the Kandy Bars. You can easily prepare these treats ahead of time and stick them back into the freezer until you are ready to serve! Totally cute AND delish!!
Well, we can happily say they were a hit!!
